Since there are nine units, they'll be divided into three groups: our main Predators, their rivals, and the Ancient Predator and his bodyguards. As mentioned before, each Predator will be based on one of the playable units from Aliens Versus Predator: Extinction. I chose three because that seems to be the standard size as seen in the 2004 AvP and Predators. Since I'm going for a smaller scale battle than what's in the game, each Yautja clan will only send a hunting party of three Predators. Hunting a Gro'Tye was only the beginning, for the humans had also awakened an ancient hive of Kiande Amedha, the Xenomorphs. Failure would bring shame, dishonor, and banishment. Honors and glory would be heaped upon the victorious clan and be named the Ancients' successors. That was when the clans' leaders revealed that this was part of a trial orchestrated by the Council of Ancients. But as they traveled to the lair of the Gro'Tye, they discovered that a rival clan had also been granted hunting rights to the planet and had also been tasked with hunting the beast. Humans provide good sport and would serve as a worthy prelude to their hunt. Upon arrival on LV-742, the Yautja discovered that humans had begun to colonize the planet and that they had also brought their military. ![]() ![]() ![]() Due to the threat they possessed and how rare they had become, the clan sent three of their most skilled warriors to track one down. Only seasoned hunters were permitted to hunt such a beast for a single Gro'Tye was powerful enough to wipe out an entire hunting party of Young Bloods. ![]() (UPDATE: I've added a little more to each Predator's bio.)Īfter petitioning the Councils the Ancients, a clan of Yautja had been granted exclusive hunting rights to the planet LV-742 in order to hunt a formidable creature known in their language as the Gro'Tye.
